The first-ever Dallas Giving Day on May 20, 2009 raised more than $4 million for local
nonprofits. More than 8,000
generous North Texans logged on to
www.donorbridgetx.org to make a contribution
to their favorite nonprofit organizations.
The 2010 North Texas Giving Day, Get Up & Give,
is scheduled for Wednesday, September 8, 2010. All donations
of $25 or more received
between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. will be matched by some percentage. Donors may give at any time
during that period to receive the match.
There is $700,000 in matching dollars available
for 2010 North Texas Giving Day. In addition, another $50,000
will be given out as prizes. For more information on the
